About The Position

Bolt6 is a sports technology company focused on visual innovation, including real-time tracking, data overlays, and AR experiences for various sports like tennis, golf, motorsport, and volleyball. They partner with rights holders and broadcasters to enhance sports viewing. This role involves rigging their camera-tracking system for volleyball matches in specific US cities from January to May 2027, with most matches occurring Wednesday through Sunday.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install rigging systems to support cameras around the court, ensuring optimal positioning for coverage and stability.
  • Conduct all rigging activities in compliance with safety standards and regulations, following risk assessments and ensuring equipment is securely fastened and stable.
  • Ensure all cables are neatly run and do not pose a trip hazard.
  • Handle and transport rigging and camera equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all tools and hardware are in proper working condition.
  • Adjust camera positions and rigging setups as needed to meet specific project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot any rigging or mechanical issues that arise during installation.
  • Work closely with camera system operators, the technical team, and event coordinators to achieve desired camera angles and shots.
  • Stay in touch with Bolt6 operators during the match and be ready to attend to any issues that may arise.
  • Safely dismantle rigging systems and cables after the event.
  • Conduct any necessary maintenance or repairs on rigging equipment.
  • Neatly pack away all cameras, cables, and kit into designated cases.
