About The Position

This role involves leveraging advanced Camera Engineering knowledge to research, design, develop, verify, debug, implement, and/or validate complex camera systems, SW or System tasks (including Camera Image Signal Processor, 3A, Image Quality, Features, and Tuning Tools), algorithms, features, modeling, and optimization. The engineer will perform architecture, IQ modules, algorithm, and feature decomposition to drive complex requirements and specifications to improve overall image quality for different features. Key responsibilities include ensuring advanced image quality, system performance, and ISP area and power metrics are met, addressing customer/product requirements, supporting customer features for optimal image quality, and identifying implementation/configuration errors. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for design, development, and optimization of camera systems, hardware, and/or software is essential. The role also requires writing detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for complex Camera projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, verify, debug, implement, and/or validate complex camera systems, SW or System tasks (including Camera Image Signal Processor, 3A, Image Quality, Features, and Tuning Tools), algorithms, features, modeling, and optimization.
  • Perform architecture, IQ modules, algorithm, and feature decomposition to drive complex requirements and specifications to improve overall image quality for different features.
  • Ensure advanced image quality, system performance, and ISP area and power metrics are met.
  • Address customer/product requirements in functionality and results.
  • Support customer features to achieve optimal image quality and identify implementation and/or configuration error.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize camera systems, hardware, and/or software.
  • Write detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for complex Camera projects to guide users and/or customers to implement output.
