About The Position

The Camera Car Driver will be provided with a vehicle equipped with a state-of-the-art LPR camera system that scans vehicle license plates while driving. The primary role involves driving in designated areas while the camera system operates, and reporting/communicating with the recovery agent team. This position is suitable for individuals who enjoy driving, possess basic automobile knowledge, or have transportation experience.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cars (makes, models, etc.) is required.
• Ability to communicate in a positive manner with co-workers.
• Possess initiative and ability to stay on task with little to no supervision.
• Must have a cell phone and a reliable means of transportation to work.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be 23 years of age or older due to insurance requirements.
• Must pass drug screen.

• Basic automobile knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create routes with repossession agents using the mapping system via tablet.
• Be responsible for all open accounts within the assigned area.
• Scan license plates using the LPR camera system.
• Physically verify VIN and license plates when needed.
• Take photos of vehicles using a personal phone and log with details.
• Communicate camera hits to repossession agents in the area to attempt recovery.
• Safely drive and operate the company camera vehicle at all times.
• Explore new areas with a good sense of direction while driving.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the management team or repossession agent.
