About The Position

AdvancedPCB is seeking a reliable, motivated CAM Operator II to translate and transform customer-supplied design data into panelized tools for manufacturing. The role provides tooling for standard PCB designs, reviews incoming customer data against design-for-manufacturability criteria, and prepares output for manufacturing equipment and processes. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (second shift). Applicants must meet ITAR eligibility requirements and be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a CAM Operator.
At least 2 years of CAM software experience.
Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Must be a U.S. person under ITAR: a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident, or an individual with refugee or asylee status.
Physical requirements include occasionally standing, walking, climbing stairs, and reaching with both hands and arms; regularly talking or hearing and performing repetitive motions; and frequently sitting.
Must have close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Provide tooling for standard PCB designs.
Receive and analyze customer data against design-for-manufacturability (DFM) criteria and provide feedback.
Repair violations and edit the single image as required, including vendor logos.
Panelize data and output it to photo plotters, NC download systems, continuity testing, AOI CAM, and other systems.
Develop NC programming for drillers, routers, and scoring, milling, and beveling equipment.
Communicate with customers and outside services.
