About The Position

Flowserve is seeking a CNC Machinist to join its manufacturing team. The role involves machining and inspecting precision-manufactured components, primarily from stainless steel, while meeting quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The machinist will work with advanced CNC equipment to support production of flow control solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to operate CNC machining equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including scales and calipers.
• Basic machine shop math and calculation skills.

Nice To Haves

• 0–2 years of CNC machining or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating CNC turning and milling equipment.
• Experience machining stainless steel or similar materials.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical machining problems.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining equipment, including 3-axis turning, 5-axis turning, and milling machines.
• Follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation to produce components to specification.
• Inspect machined components using measuring tools and equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Set up and adjust machine settings to support efficient and accurate production.
• Machine a variety of materials, including stainless steel, while meeting production requirements.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and assist in resolving technical problems.
• Support team objectives and perform additional related duties as needed.
