About The Position

The Design Department is seeking student workers to support our growing departments through a variety of tasks.

Requirements

• Skills in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Skills in design, drawing, and typography
• Skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
• Ability to manage themselves and their schedule
• Ability to present a positive attitude while representing our department
• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial standing with the University.

Responsibilities

• Office support for our adjunct faculty.
• Peer to peer tutoring for students in DDN and ADV courses.
• Oversight and support of our student clubs.
• Design and production of marketing and communications products, including social media, posters and flyers, and photography.
• Inventory control of supplies and materials for all classes.
• Direct preparation of supplies and materials for our Sculpture classes.
• Classroom support including organizing, cleaning, and materials preparation.
• Meet with and tour prospective students through our program.
• Assist in general departmental needs.
