About The Position

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a comprehensive multidisciplinary company that offers Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy, Massage, and Acupuncture services. This is a per diem, temporary-to-hire position with availability needed on Mondays and Fridays from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The role involves effectively communicating changes to administration procedures of the front office, including telephones, processing, scheduling, and verifications. You will route escalated calls to the appropriate department and personnel, complete tasks surrounding the nature of the call, and provide the highest level of patient care and support. Responsibilities also include scheduling appointments based on availability and continuity of care, verifying insurance information, updating demographics, and informing patients of necessary documentation for health center visits. Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations is essential. The role requires answering a high volume of calls and assisting at the front desk when needed, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service skills; ability to diffuse client frustrations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to use logic and problem-solving skills to resolve issues
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
