About The Position

Customer Solutions Center Representatives are responsible for engaging with customers through inbound phone calls. Customer Solutions Center Representatives are to represent Peoples Bank well by presenting a positive, professional image while meeting or exceeding customers' expectations. This position will begin in Munster, IN and will transition to Orland Park, IL in mid-2027.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Proficient in technical computer skills.
Demonstrated ability in providing excellent customer service.
Resolve issues with straight forward to moderate degrees of complexity through account research and utilization of support materials and resources.
Must be self-motivated and follow established guidelines.
Works under moderate supervision in day-to-day activities and escalates issues as needed.
Clear and effective communication in person and over the phone.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree preferred
2+ years customer service experience preferred
2+ years Call Center experience preferred

Responsibilities

Answer customer inquiries relating to bank products and services through inbound telephone calls
Recognize growth or service opportunities for customers and refer them to the appropriate department
Remain current on products, services, policies and procedures
Resolve customer inquiries or issues with respect to any loan product offered by Peoples Bank
Resolve customer issues through account research and utilization of support materials and resources
Perform customer account transaction and maintenance activities accurately
Strive for first contact resolution of customer inquiries, transactions and problem resolution
Escalate customer requests requiring additional knowledge or expertise as defined by department leadership
Other duties as assigned
