About The Position

Call Center Patient Service Representative - bilingual preferred Location: Denver Colorado Pay rate: $20.29- $31.73 Shift: Monday through Friday Hours: Days If you love working with people and doing your part to ensure the best possible healthcare experience for patients, this is the job for you! As a part of Uptown Community Health Center Call Center you will be answering calls for our 3 clinics along with our financial counselors.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program.
  • Two (1) year experience in integrated healthcare or primary care.
  • Experience with Epic application and heath record.
  • Experience working with and sensitivity toward special populations, including those with limited income, limited education, and non-English speaking individuals.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish, complete comprehension, literacy and fluency in both languages

Responsibilities

  • Greets and introduces themselves to patients in a prompt and pleasant manner.
  • Performs any screening procedures as directed.
  • Answers, documents, and triages phone calls to ensure patients are connected with the appropriate care team members.
  • Excels at scheduling all types of appointments and is proficient in scheduling nuances.
  • Responsible for continuously addressing and completing in-basket tasks and work queues as assigned.
  • Contributes to organizing, maintaining, and compiling office supplies, educational and screening materials, and packets as needed.
  • Completes reschedules and outreach calls as directed.
  • Relays messages to patients, including normal results - under the direction and guidance of the providers.
  • Proper and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record: recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and protects medical office operations by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
  • Attends required staff meetings, standard work meetings, trainings, and Spring Fling - virtually or in person as required.
  • Be available to work as scheduled and report to work on time regularly and reliably.
  • Be available to work onsite as needed or when requested
