About The Position

Courts & Official Records Services (CORS) is looking for a motivated Call Center Clerk to join their Call Center and Branch locations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys assisting the public, learning new processes, and contributing to meaningful work within their community. The Call Center Clerk will support customers across multiple platforms, including the Call Center, ensuring every interaction reflects empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to service.

Requirements

  • Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills
  • Strong business English and math proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • A professional, courteous demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use tact in sensitive situations
  • Proficiency with PCs and printers
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of clerical experience, or a combination of education and experience demonstrating ability to perform the duties
  • Two years of cash-handling experience
  • Two years of customer service experience
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by treating every customer with courtesy and professionalism
  • Answer and resolve customer inquiries through assigned call queues
  • Meet performance expectations and maintain accuracy in all tasks
  • Process payments securely
  • Accept and process official documents with accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain working knowledge of Florida Statutes, Records Management policies, and best practices
  • Navigate internal systems including the Intranet, LeeClerk.org, and kiosk stations
  • Learn redaction requirements, department-specific fees, document types, and case types
  • Provide in-office support for customer service duties as assigned
  • Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as needed
