About The Position

Sound is seeking dynamic professionals to join their team as Call Center Assistants. The role involves answering a high volume of calls, performing administrative duties, managing multiple tasks to meet critical timelines, and maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion. As part of the Administration team, you will participate in team meetings and provide cross-team support. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, located in Tukwila, WA.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Two or more years of progressively responsible administrative duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a team.
  • Ability to work effectively supporting a number of treatment teams.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multitask while dealing with unexpected deadlines.
  • Maintenance of high standards for accuracy, productivity, and confidentiality.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a high-volume call center environment.
  • Experience with health insurance verification and data entry.
  • Avatar scheduling software experience.
  • Basic knowledge of health insurance verification and billing processes.
  • Comfort in relating to child and adult clients, and the ability to relate easily and positively to individuals from varying educational, professional, and economic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Answer multiple telephone lines, route calls, take messages, provide service/program information, and schedule appointments.
  • Process insurance verification for clients through Provider One, state/county agencies, and external websites to ensure financial eligibility and enter coverage information.
  • Verify client chart information, including demographics, insurance coverage, appointment times/dates, and required paperwork.
  • Monitor multiple agency emails, voicemail boxes, and other correspondence platforms, responding within 24 hours.
  • Communicate with outside sources to obtain client information and/or paperwork.
  • Participate in Sound thinking and other projects representing the Administration team.
  • Attend team and corporate meetings in other Sound locations as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Director.
