About The Position

Reproductive Freedom for All (Formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America) has been fighting to protect and expand reproductive freedom for over 55 years. With over 4 million members nationwide, the organization advocates for the freedom to make personal decisions about family planning. Reproductive Freedom for All prioritizes diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in its work, aiming for equitable access to reproductive freedom for everyone. As a leading national organization focused on abortion access, it mobilizes millions to defend reproductive freedom, holds accountable those who oppose it, and supports political champions and legislation to safeguard these rights. The organization utilizes grassroots organizing, mobilization, and public awareness campaigns to achieve its goals.

Requirements

  • Previous grassroots organizing experience (professional or volunteer) or a demonstrated interest in organizing
  • Excited to get out into the community and talk to people one-on-one or in groups, over the phone or in-person, about reproductive rights
  • Commitment to advancing reproductive freedom
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with people from varying communities and different lived experiences
  • Interest in gaining professional experience in politics and organizing
  • Willing to work some nights and weekends to attend events
  • Open to attending events in-person, and currently lives in the city where the position is located
  • Demonstrates an alignment with our organization’s values
  • Demonstrated commitment to contributing to a workplace environment in which diversity is valued and supported

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in multiple languages, like Spanish (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Recruit volunteers and members at events in the community or over the phone, in preparation for election season
  • Meet with emerging leaders 1-1 and plan or host events and trainings
  • Attend, help plan, recruit for, and host campaign events like tabling, phone banks, and canvasses
  • Advocate for reproductive freedom and help drive our campaign priorities in key elections
  • Track your work in VAN, a project management tool
  • Attend and support in-person events, at least twice a month
  • Attend and support most or all days during Get Out the Vote week, from October 31 to November 3
