About The Position

We're looking for a Calibration & Tool Crib Technician to keep our manufacturing operation running smoothly by managing, maintaining, and calibrating the tools and measuring equipment our team depends on every day. This role is crucial for ensuring the precision and quality of our aerospace manufacturing processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
1+ year in tool crib, calibration, or manufacturing quality
Familiarity with measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges
Experience with calibration tracking or inventory software (Visual Manufacturing preferred)
Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Nice To Haves

Trade school (Certified Calibration Technician) or college degree in a related field preferred
Knowledge of AS9100 or other aerospace quality standards preferred

Responsibilities

Issue, receive, and manage inventory of tools, gages, fixtures, and equipment for production
Track calibration due dates and perform recalls to keep all measuring devices within required intervals
Perform in-house calibration of instruments using established procedures and industry standards
Maintain accurate records in our calibration and inventory system (Visual Quality)
Coordinate with approved external calibration vendors when needed
Inspect tools and gages before issuance and upon return; identify wear, damage, or malfunction
Develop and maintain calibration documentation in compliance with AS9100 quality standards
Support internal and external audits with complete and accurate equipment records
