About The Position

Accredited Labs is seeking a Calibration Technician to join the Lab Team at Accutek Labs. The role works in the laboratory calibrating a variety of equipment across different fields and performing routine and complex repair and calibration of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment. The position includes calibration service for commonly used pipettes to ensure proper performance, precision, accuracy, and reliable results. The ideal candidate has a mechanical or technical background and exposure to calibration procedures.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly.
Experience working in a technical or mechanical position.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good organizational and prioritization skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of metrology principles, procedures, methods, and techniques gained through education or professional experience.
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time.
Metrology experience.
Basic pipette knowledge.

Responsibilities

Complete accurate and timely calibrations.
Clean, disassemble, verify, and calibrate pipettes in accordance with established service levels.
Service and troubleshoot pipettes to ensure conformance with manufacturer and customer specifications within the expected range.
Perform duties in accordance with ISO 17025.
Calibrate a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
Ensure calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
Interact professionally with customers, providing service and support.
