About The Position

This position is responsible for providing control and calibration of precision devices, gages, and equipment used for acceptance verification of manufactured product. The role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with all personnel, and proficiency in interpreting drawings and specifications. Experience in handling device calibration is essential.

Requirements

• Three years minimum experience in an NC machine manufacturing environment.
• At least one year of relevant experience in device calibration.
• Experience with the use and application of calibration equipment such as calipers, micrometers, thread plug/ring gages, height stands, and test indicators.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with all types of personnel.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Tests, calibrates, and repairs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance according to prints, schematics technical manuals and other applicable specifications.
• Set up standards and equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate other instruments and test equipment.
• Disassembles instruments and/or equipment, using hand tools, and inspects equipment for defects.
• Measures parts for conformity using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
• Aligns, repairs, replaces component parts and circuitry.
• Reassembles and calibrates instruments and equipment.
