Calibration Technician-1st Shift
About The Position
The Calibration Technician will support the Lockheed Martin Greenville Site, performing calibration and adjustments on Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). This includes equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multi-meters, power supplies, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, digital voltmeters, AC/DC Standards, power meters & sensors, digital multimeters, and electrical test sets, as well as physical/dimensional equipment and hand tools. The role requires using calibration procedures, manufacturers’ manuals and specifications, and data sheets. A thorough knowledge of calibration lab safety, teamwork, and quality consciousness are essential. The candidate must be able to periodically lift and carry in excess of 50 lbs. Requirements
- 5 years of relevant calibration or metrology experience or successful completion of a basic DoD Calibration School.
- Recent hands-on laboratory environment calibration experience within the last 5 years.
- Experience with electrical theory, hydraulics/pneumatics, and torque.
- Experience calibrating/adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Nice To Haves
- Military PMEL/TMDE training
- 3+ year experience calibrating/adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment
- Experience working with electro-mechanical equipment
- Demonstrate knowledge of regulations such as NIST,ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110 or ANSI Z540.1, etc.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel
Responsibilities
