About The Position

At our Loves Park facility, we’re seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to join our team on 2nd Shift, M-F 1:30pm-10pm. This entry-level to mid-level position plays a key role in maintaining the precision and reliability of measurement equipment used in high-stakes aerospace manufacturing and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical environment and wants to contribute to high-precision aerospace work. Training shift: M-F 6am-2:30pm

Nice To Haves

Previous calibration or metrology experience
Familiar with ISO17025 & ANSI Z540
Calibration database experience (Managing & documentation)
Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints & GD&T
Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

Perform Equipment Calibration: Conduct routine calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment according to established standard operating procedures.
Maintain Calibration Records: Accurately document calibration data and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Support Maintenance Activities: Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of calibration tools and systems under the guidance of senior technicians.
Adhere to Quality Standards: Follow all quality guidelines and protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of calibration processes.
Communicate Technical Information: Share calibration results and technical information effectively with team members to facilitate collaborative operations.
Executes calibration of instruments and equipment according to established standard operating procedures to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
Documents calibration procedures, results, and maintenance activities meticulously to comply with quality assurance standards.
Identifies and Resolves Issues: Detects and addresses common calibration problems by applying analytical methods and following predefined protocols to maintain measurement integrity.
Conduct Equipment Maintenance: Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on calibration tools and machinery to sustain optimal functionality and performance.
Shares complex technical data and calibration outcomes effectively within the team to support collaborative objectives and enhance overall quality.
