About The Position

Responsible for performing preventive maintenance and calibration duties on analytical, microbiological, and material sciences laboratory equipment. This role involves following calibration procedures and utilizing various resources to gather technical information for both familiar and unfamiliar laboratory instrumentation. The position also includes creating certificates of calibration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience performing calibrations within a cGMP regulated environment OR a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine calibrations and preventative maintenance on analytical, microbiological, and material sciences laboratory equipment.
• Follow calibration procedures.
• Access and use all sources (e.g. manuals, tech support, internet, peers) for needed technical information to support familiar and unfamiliar laboratory instrumentation.
• Create certificates of calibration.
