About The Position

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Calibration Tech I to perform preventive maintenance and calibration duties. This role involves routine and non-routine calibrations and preventative maintenance on analytical, microbiological, and material sciences laboratory equipment. The individual will be responsible for following calibration procedures, accessing and utilizing various technical information sources (manuals, tech support, internet, peers) to support familiar and unfamiliar laboratory instrumentation, and creating certificates of calibration. Requirements

High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience performing calibrations within a cGMP regulated environment
OR a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine calibrations and preventative maintenance on analytical, microbiological, and material sciences laboratory equipment.
Follow calibration procedures.
Accesses and uses all sources (e.g. manuals, tech support, internet, peers) for needed technical information needed to support familiar and unfamiliar laboratory instrumentation.
Create certificates of calibration.
