This is an apprentice-level role responsible for executing defined calibration processes using established procedures, software, and equipment. This position focuses on operational accuracy, workflow consistency, and proper documentation. Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. Technical coursework a plus.
  • Ability to follow detailed written procedures with precision.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency (data entry, navigation of software tools).
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn technical concepts over time.
  • Ability to lift and handle instruments safely.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, electronics assembly, quality control, or similar process-driven environments preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with measurement tools (micrometers, multimeters, torque tools, etc.) preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Operate calibration equipment, fixtures, and software according to documented procedures and work instructions.
  • Perform step-by-step calibration processes with a focus on repeatability and adherence to specifications.
  • Enter results into the calibration management system (CMS) with high accuracy.
  • Prepare instruments for calibration (visual inspection, cleaning, basic setup).
  • Package, label, and stage completed instruments for final review or shipment.
  • Follow safety, quality, and environmental guidelines at all times.
  • Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and escalate to a senior technician or supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and support daily workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with equipment warm-up, verification checks, and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in training to progress toward Calibration Technician I capabilities.
  • All other duties as assigned.
