About The Position

Responsible for site leadership and management of RMS Moorestown & Manassas calibration operations. Responsible for leading personnel, staffing, budget, capital, and lab operations. Will operate as member of a larger RMS Metrology Management team to drive improvements. Experienced leader with Continuous Improvement, maintaining positive stakeholder relationships, and motivating personnel performance to improve efficiency. Provides technology forecasting, workload balancing, personnel development, and team building. Experience in risk identification, mitigation, and compliance to industry standards.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Quality and/or Calibration principles and philosophies.
  • Experience in the development and/or supporting role of strategic planning and management of financial budgets.
  • Complex data analysis skills with proven collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills managing both technical and personnel aspects with cross team collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Direct experience in the establishment and management of a Calibration Lab Quality management System.
  • In depth knowledge of international and national metrology standards.
  • Experience executing within a calibration management database preferably Indysoft.
