We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration / Gauge Technician to join our manufacturing team in Conyers, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, adjustment, and certified repair of analytical and dimensional instruments. You will ensure all production infrastructure adheres strictly to quality standards and national traceability metrics.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a calibration technician in a fast-paced manufacturing or laboratory environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in Metrology, Electronics, or Instrumentation is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of torque, pressure, flow, temperature, and dimensional application variables.
  • Ability to lift to 25 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years’ experience
  • ASQ Certified Calibration Technician
  • ISO9001 / IATF16949 or similar technical system experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manage and/or perform routine calibrations, maintenance, and emergency repairs on gauges and/or tooling used in Refrigeration Systems manufacturing and assembly (examples: torque tools, crimpers, pressure gauges, temperature controllers, multimeters, hi-pot testers, leak test equipment, etc.)
  • Evaluate "as-found" equipment conditions, make precise mechanical/electrical adjustments, and record "as-left" data metrics.
  • Document and archive detailed calibration reports, instrument histories, and out-of-tolerance logs into our internal asset management software.
  • Ensure all measurements conform to applicable regulations and maintain strict traceability to NIST.
