About The Position

The Calibration Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and managing the calibration database for all tools, gauges, and equipment. This role ensures that all calibration records are accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready. The coordinator will track and manage calibration schedules to ensure equipment remains within required intervals, coordinate internal and external calibration activities, and generate calibration reports. They will also identify and follow up on overdue calibrations, assist in investigating discrepancies, and support audits by providing necessary documentation. Effective communication with departments regarding equipment submission and return is crucial, as is maintaining organized records.

  • Strong computer skills (experience with databases or ERP systems preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the calibration database for all tools, gauges, and equipment
  • Ensure all calibration records are accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready
  • Track and manage calibration schedules to ensure all equipment remains within required calibration intervals
  • Coordinate internal and external calibration activities with vendors and internal teams
  • Generate and review calibration reports, certifications, and related documentation
  • Identify and follow up on overdue or missing calibration items
  • Assist in investigating and documenting calibration discrepancies or nonconformances
  • Support internal and external audits by providing calibration records and documentation
  • Communicate with departments to ensure timely submission and return of equipment for calibration
  • Maintain organized records and filing systems (electronic and/or physical)
