Accu-Chek, LLC, an ATS company, has been serving the calibration and inspection needs of the quality industry and provides a wide range of calibration, inspection and repair services in many industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, computer, fluid power, appliance, and many others. We are seeking a Calibration Repair Technician will be based out of the lab location in Corydon, IN and will be responsible for providing Repair and calibration services in the lab or in the field at the customers’ location. Requirements

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience repairing and calibrating precision instruments and test equipment.
Proficiency with hand tools, soldering equipment, and electronic test instruments.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and calibration procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle small, delicate components.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High School graduate / or equivalent required.
Familiarity with basic hand tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer software including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands including overtime work when needed
Candidate shall be able to lift 60 pounds
Candidate shall have a clean driving record, background check, and drug screen

Nice To Haves

2 - 5+ years' experience in mechanical measuring, inspection, and testing equipment calibration preferred.
Candidates with experience using mechanical measuring, inspection, and testing equipment will also be considered.
Associates degree from college or technical school preferred.
at least two (2) years related experience / training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Commercial or Military experience acceptable

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and calibrate a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments and equipment.
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble precision instruments in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
Identify appropriate measurement methods and utilize precision test equipment to verify performance and compliance.
Maintain calibration standards, tools, and laboratory equipment in accordance with quality system requirements.
Perform soldering, component replacement, and minor electronic repairs on instruments and assemblies.
Use precision measurement equipment including micrometers, calipers, multimeters, torque analyzers, pressure gauges, and temperature measurement devices.
Calibrate and repair torque drivers, torque wrenches, hardness testers, optical comparators, surface plates, tensile testers, and force measurement equipment.
Document repair activities, calibration results, and service records accurately and completely.
Work collaboratively with technicians and other team members to meet customer turnaround and quality requirements.
Perform service and calibration work both in the laboratory and at customer locations as required.
Adhere to all company safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Travel locally and regionally to support customer service needs, including occasional overnight travel.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
