About The Position

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. This role involves planning bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, and working with various decorating tools to create designs on bakery items. You will also be responsible for adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Additionally, you will operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience. You will also be responsible for identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving member issues. As a brand advocate, you will model high-quality service and products, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and assist in training and mentoring them. You will also comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Completing work assignments and priorities, communicating progress, and identifying improvement opportunities are key aspects of this role. Embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and helping all associates thrive are also important. You will work as a team, build strong relationships, and communicate with impact to motivate and influence. Requirements

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if I receive the position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools tasks and resources

• Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
• Utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind
• Adapts to new tools and encouraging others to use them
• Drives the performance of the bakery area ensuring quality and date control standards

• Prepares for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume for example holidays, graduations, family events
