About The Position

The Cake Decorator prepares and decorates cakes for multiple occasions and fills and conditions the cake case throughout the shift. The role includes managing cake out-dates, processing orders, tracking cake and icing inventory, preparing icing, and maintaining the decorating station according to sanitation procedures. The position also involves customer service, stocking and maintaining products and displays to quality and merchandising standards, and potentially working in deli and bakery areas. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions.
• Fill and condition the cake case throughout the shift.
• Manage cake out-dates daily.
• Receive and process cake orders.
• Manage cake and icing inventory.
• Prepare icing and maintain the cake decorating station while following sanitation procedures.
• Maintain positive, friendly working relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Stock and maintain products and displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
• Potentially work in deli and bakery areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
