Nugget Markets is looking for a talented Cake Decorator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience crafting beautifully decorated cakes and desserts, take pride in details, and have experience producing a large number of cakes/desserts in a retail setting. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to read and write in English
An eye for color, texture and design with an attention to detail
Experience in a retail environment producing a large number of cakes/pastries
Ability to work at a fast pace while staying focused on completing individual tasks
Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate, read and write basic instructions, schedules and signage
A positive attitude is essential!

Responsibilities

Support the bakery in stocking the case with an abundance of fresh, beautiful, high-quality products.
Provide world-class service to guests.
Prepare a variety of cakes, desserts and pastries consistently at a high rate of speed.
Mix creams, sauces, fillings and icings.
Apply finishing work to cakes.
Take guest orders by phone and in-person.
Assist the bakers and bakery clerks as needed.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment.
Travel to the following Nugget Market locations: Davis - Mace, Davis - Covell, West Sacramento, Vacaville.
