Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to read and write in English
An eye for color, texture and design with an attention to detail
Experience in a retail environment producing a large number of cakes/pastries
Ability to work at a fast pace while staying focused on completing individual tasks
Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate, read and write basic instructions, schedules and signage
A positive attitude is essential!

Responsibilities

Support the bakery in stocking our case with an abundance of fresh, beautiful, high-quality products while providing world-class service to our guests.
Prepare a variety of cakes, desserts and pastries consistently at a high rate of speed.
Mix creams, sauces, fillings and icings.
Apply finishing work to cakes.
Take guest orders by phone and in-person.
Assist the bakers and bakery clerks as needed.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment.
