As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. This role involves planning bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, and working with various decorating tools to create designs on bakery items. You will also be responsible for adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Additionally, you will operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience. You will also be responsible for driving the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events. Identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving member issues are also key aspects of this role. You will act as a brand advocate, model high-quality service, and interact with associates to assist in training and development. You will also comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Completing work assignments and priorities, collaborating with managers and coworkers, and adapting to change are also expected.
