About The Position

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. This role involves planning bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, and working with various decorating tools to create designs on bakery items. You will also be responsible for adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Additionally, you will operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience. You will also be responsible for driving the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events. Identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving member issues are also key aspects of this role. You will act as a brand advocate, model high-quality service, and interact with associates to assist in training and mentoring. You will also comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. The role requires completing work assignments and priorities, collaborating with managers and coworkers, and adapting to change and feedback. Embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen and supported, and helping all associates thrive are also important. You will work as a team, build strong relationships, and communicate effectively to motivate and influence others. Requirements

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Leverages digital tools to drive sales improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement
• Utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production merchandise ordering training and product quality with the member in mind
