About The Position

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. This role involves planning bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, and working with various decorating tools to create designs on bakery items. You will also be responsible for adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Additionally, you will operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience. You will own the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events. You will also assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve their issues and concerns. As a brand advocate, you will model high-quality service and products, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and assist in training and mentoring them. You will comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources. You will embrace differences, create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and help attract the best talent. You will build strong, trusting relationships, communicate with impact, energy, and positivity, and strengthen the team by helping, developing, and mentoring others. Requirements

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools tasks and resources

• Follows recipe measurement instructions
• Works with a variety of products for example decorating bags tips nozzles to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items
• Ensures adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
• Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
• Demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution
• Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
• Utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind
• Adapts to new tools and encouraging others to use them
• Drives the performance of the bakery area ensuring quality and date control standards

• Prepares for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume for example holidays, graduations, family events
