Requirements

A strong artistic sense and the ability to create visually appealing and creative bakery items.
Ability to interact effectively with guests and understand their needs.
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure products are decorated beautifully and meet quality standards.
Standing for extended periods of time (80% of time).
Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis (30% of time).
Frequently near moving machinery (60% of time).
Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (20% of time).
Repetitive motion of hands and wrists (90% of time).

Responsibilities

Top, finish, and decorate a variety of bakery products, including bars, pies, cookies, doughnuts, cupcakes, and cakes.
Boost sales by creating visually appealing and unique bakery items that exceed our guests' expectations.
Provide excellent service by assisting guests with their bakery needs, taking special orders, and bringing their cake design visions to life.
Keep bakery displays fresh and appealing by rotating products and ensuring adequate stock levels.
Maintain high-quality standards by ensuring products are fresh and removing any items that do not meet our standards.
Work closely with the Cake Decorator II and other bakery associates to achieve department goals and maintain cleanliness and organization.
Keep food safety logs up to date and adhere to all food safety guidelines.
Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
Other duties as assigned.
