About The Position

This position is responsible for decorating cakes and other baked goods according to customer specifications or established designs. The role involves preparing icings and fillings, frosting and decorating various items, ensuring quality and consistency, and maintaining a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines. Management may assign additional tasks as needed, with proper training and protective equipment provided.

Requirements

• 1+ years of cake decorating experience
• Proficiency in various icing techniques (e.g., buttercream, fondant)
• Ability to create custom cake designs
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Food Handlers Certification required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
