As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your bakery area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. You will be responsible for planning bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, following recipe instructions, and working with various decorating tools to create decorative elements on bakery items. Adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management are crucial. You will also operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment. Leveraging digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement is expected, including using hand-held technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality. You will drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events. Identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving member issues are also key aspects of the role. Being a brand advocate by valuing the member's experience in Bakery, modeling high-quality service and products, and interacting with associates to understand and assist with roadblocks, training, development, influence, and inspiration is important. You will comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
