About The Position

The Colorado Christian University (CCU) Academy aims to provide affordable dual enrollment opportunities for high school students, helping families reduce costs, preparing students for college, and enabling them to graduate with a high school diploma and CCU college credit, potentially even an associate's degree. The CCU Academy Graduate Assistant operates within the Academic department of CCU Academy, reporting to the Assistant Director of Curriculum and Instruction. This role provides administrative support to the Academic department, with key duties including assisting with the dual credit application process, organizing digital files, data input and management, and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into one of CCU's graduate programs required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and as an individual contributor.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage multiple tasks.
  • Work under deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Someone who has an eye for details and efficiency.
  • Ability to learn and use Brightspace, Zoom, Adobe Pro, Concourse, Service Desk, along with other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Energetic personality, self-starting mentality, results-driven, and with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive demeanor and professional appearance.
  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must be accepted and enrolled in one of CCU’s graduate programs.
  • Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have results sent to CCU for review.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to CCU’s mission: Christ-centered higher education transforming students to impact the world with grace and truth. In this role, the Curriculum Development Graduate Assistant contributes to the mission by supporting the Academics department of CAGS Curriculum Development to provide Christ-centered higher education to high school students.
  • Report to and support the Curriculum Development Coordinator in managing and upkeeping systems and processes as they relate to CAGS courses and the university LMS.
  • Assist with the upkeep of the master textbook list.
  • Assist with the tracking of textbook edition updates.
  • Check for overdue faculty contracts in monthly reports.
  • Regularly review the schedule for updating CCU-created course materials.
  • Respond to common email questions using provided templates.
  • Assist with the desk copy request process and keep the log updated.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
