About The Position

Support in vivo oncology research studies in mice as a member of the Vivarium Operations Cagewash Team. This role involves processing dirty and clean caging components, performing general sanitation on equipment, rooms, and facilities, and transporting materials, supplies, and waste. The technician will also record data, adhere to study protocols, and perform general preparation and organizational activities. Weekend and holiday work on a rotating basis is required.

Responsibilities

Process dirty and clean caging components.
Perform general sanitation on equipment, rooms, and facilities.
Transport materials, supplies, and waste.
Record data within room logs and the laboratory information management system.
Read, understand, and adhere to study protocols.
Perform general preparation and organizational activities, including supply organization and stocking, and laboratory organization.
Work weekends and holidays on rotating basis.
