A Cage Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and verifying all cash transactions for departments and ensuring compliance with company internal controls, policies and procedures. This role involves directing, training, monitoring, and assigning tasks to cage personnel, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a professional work environment. The supervisor will exercise knowledge of cage procedures in large-scale operations, including customer transactions, money/chip exchanges, record maintenance, and operating computer equipment. They will also adhere to Title 31 procedures, ensure excellent customer and employee service, and arbitrate disputes professionally. A flexible schedule is required to open and close the cage as needed. The role also requires basic knowledge in management, human resources, and budgeting, along with strong money handling, counting, and mathematical skills. Participation in the Supervisory Development Leadership Series (SDLS) is expected annually. Building guest loyalty through sincere interactions, being a team player, and developing thorough knowledge of property services are also key aspects of the position. The supervisor must maintain a courteous, positive, and professional working relationship with all personnel and the public, work under pressure, and maintain regular attendance, including odd hours, weekends, and holidays. Additional duties may be assigned.
