About The Position
This position is responsible for performing physical and technical work in outdoor environments that may include cold, hot, and/or dry conditions. The role requires regular use of welding and mechanical skills and involves physically demanding tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy materials 70+ pounds. Team members must be able to work safely while standing and moving for extended periods of time. The position involves frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, and pulling throughout the workday. Team collaboration and adherence to workplace safety and performance standards are essential.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of welding and/or mechanical experience, or completion of relevant technical training.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
