About The Position

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part-time Cage Cashier to join our team at Orange City Poker Room in Orange City, Florida. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a Cage Cashier, you’ll be responsible for handling large amounts of currency, redeeming player vouchers, and processing chip transactions while providing excellent guest service. Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Six (6) months of cash handling experience preferred (especially handling large amounts of money)
• Strong math skills (addition and subtraction)
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to obtain a pari-mutuel license (includes full life background check; application fee required)
• No high school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Handle large sums of money and process cash advance transactions
• Accurately maintain assigned bank funds
• Perform cash exchanges with Main Bankers
• Issue and redeem chips; process chip fills and tray refills
• Ensure compliance with all company and state regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service
