About The Position

The Cage Cashier executes guest monetary transactions at an assigned window bank while maintaining an accurate count of company assets and providing excellent customer service. The role handles guest and company funds and associated documentation in accordance with gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures. It also assists guests with credit applications, inquiries, and current promotions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of currency.
• Ability to operate calculators, computers, and money counters for cash and coin.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to read and speak English.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain certifications and/or licenses required by local gaming regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous money-handling or cashiering experience.

Responsibilities

• Process guest and company financial transactions and documentation in accordance with gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Exchange gaming chips and tickets, cash checks, and process markers and fills.
• Maintain the bank balance and safeguard casino cage assets during the assigned shift.
• Assist customers with filling out credit applications and maintain customer credit files.
• Issue window markers and safety deposit boxes to guests.
• Enter markers, fill slips, and credit slips into the computer.
• Assist guests with inquiries and advise them about current promotions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and keep workstations fully stocked.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
