Cage Cashier - The Casino
About The Position
Responsible for handling money, casino chips, and paperwork. Duties include completing transactions, receiving gaming vouchers from guests and authorized employees, exchanging tokens, and balancing drawers at the end of the shift. This role also involves preparing jackpot payout slips, understanding computer applications related to Cage operations, issuing and reconciling imprest funds, accurately counting and recording assigned funds, and ensuring the security of all casino funds. Additionally, the Cage Cashier will issue player cards, provide marketing-related perks, offer customers in-depth marketing/casino information, and answer related questions. Compliance with all company standard operating procedures, gaming regulations, and federal regulations, including Title 31 compliance, is essential. Other assigned duties and responsibilities may also be part of this role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
- Must complete all the needed company training.

- Previous cashier or banking experience preferred.
Responsibilities

- Understanding computer applications related to Cage operations (markers, front money, safekeeping activities, Cage reporting, credit activities, self-exclusion/exclusion searching).
- Issuing, receiving, and reconciling imprest funds used by slot attendants.
- Accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift.
- Keeping the cash drawer balanced and impressed.
- Ensuring that all casino funds are secured when not in use.
- Issuing player cards for new and existing accounts.
- Issuing benefits and marketing related perks such as free play from player card memberships.
- Providing customers with in-depth marketing/casino related information and answering questions.
- Complying with all company standard operating procedures, gaming regulations, and federal regulations, including Title 31 compliance.
- Performing any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
