About The Position

The Cage Cashier is responsible for the accurate and efficient operation of their assigned window, including managing their bankroll, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations. This role requires a friendly, service-oriented approach to all guest and employee interactions, maintaining confidentiality, and promoting positive guest relations and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Company & Department Policies and Procedures and Title 31 requirements.
  • Ability to comply at all times with regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to approach all encounters with Guests and fellow employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Ability to be attentive, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to verify documents and exchange currency, coin, coupons, gaming chips, and related documents associated with the Cashier Cage.
  • Accountability for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Ability to ensure all logs/forms are filled out completely and accurately.
  • Ability to transport funds to and from the Cashier Cage for replenishment purposes.
  • Responsibility for maintaining their bank, equipment and surrounding area.
  • Ability to keep all information concerning guests confidential.
  • Ability to promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Ability to promote teamwork and cooperation with supervisors and all co-workers.
  • Ability to exchange gaming chips and/or tickets for cash.
  • Ability to process Chip Transfers to/from Fill Banks/Main Bank.
  • Ability to process Front Money Deposits and Withdrawals for Guest at Cage.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with federal currency transaction reporting requirements.
  • Ability to complete Currency Transaction Reports, Notice of Suspicious Transaction, W-2G Tax forms and Multiple Transaction Log/Non-Negotiable Instruments Log.
  • Ability to maintain accurate record keeping at all times.
  • Responsibility for safe and efficient operation of assigned Cage Cashier window and related areas, including daily operation, administration, maintenance and protection of the cashier bankroll.
  • Ability to follow Cage & Count Operations Department Policies and Procedures.
  • Responsibility for all cash, coin, chips, coupons and cash equivalents in the Cashier Cash Bank.
  • Ability to monitor and reconcile the cage machinery using proper Policies and Procedures.
  • Ability to verify documents and exchange currency, coin, gaming chips, coupons or other cash equivalents and related documents associated with the machinery.
  • Ability to perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Must complete and pass annual training for Company & Department Policies and Procedures and Title 31 requirements.

  • Verify documents and exchange currency, coin, gaming chips, coupons, or other cash equivalents and related documents associated with the machinery.
