About The Position

The Cage Cashier is responsible for opening and closing banks, balancing end paperwork, and assuming accountability for large sums of money. This role involves handling various financial transactions, including cashing checks and VISA, and transferring sums of money. The Cage Cashier must adhere to all policies and procedures and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong guest service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to accurately count money and make change.
• Able to use a 10-key calculator.
• Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
• Able to lift over 20 pounds.
• Able to push heavy carts.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
