About The Position
The Point Casino & Hotel is looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cage Cashier to join their team. This role is a vital guest-facing position responsible for accurately processing transactions, supporting daily cage operations, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- At least six months of cash-handling experience
- Friendly, outgoing customer service approach
- Strong math skills and ability to prioritize in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work all shifts including graveyard shifts and weekends
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Banking experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Support the daily reconciliation of Cage paperwork
- Exchange checks, chips, and money orders for cash
- Deliver outstanding guest service while maintaining positive employee relations
- Work as part of a team with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Handle large sums of money with accuracy and accountability
- Follow directions, complete assigned tasks, and adapt to changing operational needs
