About The Position

As a Hotel Line Cook, you will tempt the palettes of our guests with your attention to detail in presentation, quality, and safe serving temperatures.

Requirements

  • Prior culinary or kitchen experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate menu planning with Executive Chef/Sous Chef to ensure that food costs are maintained
  • Plan special menus for holiday and staff functions
  • Practice safety standards at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Report to work in a clean uniform, on time, and ready to serve.
  • Monitor quality and amounts of food on service line
  • Anticipate usage levels and prepare replenishments on a timely basis
  • work with Cafeteria Line server/Attendant to ensure optimum service for the employees
  • Prepare all meals following recipes and yield guides
