About The Position

The Staff Pad is partnering with a healthcare organization to hire a Cafeteria Cashier to support daily food service operations. This role combines customer service, cash handling, and light catering support in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a stable, team-oriented healthcare environment with a consistent schedule and opportunity to support special events. It is a customer-facing role with variety in daily responsibilities.

Requirements

• Previous cashier experience required (including handling cash and making change)
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of food service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to employees and visitors in the cafeteria
• Operate cash register, process transactions, and reconcile cash at end of shift
• Deliver friendly, efficient customer service in a high-traffic setting
• Assist with setup and breakdown of catering events, meeting rooms, and beverage stations
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed
• Maintain clean, organized serving and dining areas
• Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed
• Support overall kitchen and cafeteria operations
