About The Position

This position, under the supervision of the Food Production Coordinator, is responsible for the set up and service of food for employees and visitors in the cafeteria and meeting rooms, adhering to food safety regulations. Key duties include operating a cash register, reconciling cash at the end of the shift, and handling catering functions such as setting up beverage carts and meeting room meals, as well as tearing down these events.

Requirements

  • Cashier experience with the counting of change
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • At least six months experience in a food service setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to make change
  • Demonstrated ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change
  • Ability to easily interact and meet with people
  • Talent for getting events set up attractively and efficiently
