About The Position

The Cafeteria Aide is a part-time position responsible for monitoring student conduct in the cafeteria and preparing the cafeteria for students during all lunch periods. This role involves ensuring student safety, promoting proper dining habits, and maintaining order during food service and transitions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• No job related experience required.
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
• Tuberculosis Skin Test.
• Must follow safety and health protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students' conduct in the cafeteria.
• Help prepare the cafeteria for students for all lunch periods.
• Teach students proper use of utensils when needed.
• Help students develop and observe proper dining habits.
• Monitor students to maintain safety and prevent infractions of disciplinary rules.
• Organize students to ensure orderly purchase of food and movement to assigned tables.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
