About The Position

Part time position – Up to 20 hours a week. Morning/afternoon availability Monday-Thursday and flexibility on weekends, and ability to float between campuses if needed. Hourly Rate $17.00 an hour. All cafe employees function as cashiers, baristas, and food handlers. Primary duties include: making drinks using an espresso machine, food preparation, cleaning, customer service, grocery-shopping, and training volunteers.

Requirements

Committed, practicing disciple of Jesus Christ
At least 1 year of barista experience
Passionate about people, coffee, and the vision of the cafe ministry
Able to work efficiently, calmly, and joyfully amidst high-pressure situations
Excellent customer service & interpersonal skills
Outstanding work ethic
Friendly and outgoing demeanor
Basic numeracy and money-handling skills
Highly teachable and adaptable

Nice To Haves

Restaurant experience
Ability to drive for grocery shopping as needed

Responsibilities

Help create a positive and welcoming environment for guests and the cafe team.
Occasionally spend approximately 1 hour on Saturdays making eggs.
Prepare brunch food and make espresso-based beverages.
Open and operate the cash register, quickly and accurately distribute change, and balance the drawer at the end of shift.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized workstation and dining area.
Open and close the cafe, thoroughly cleaning equipment, in an efficient manner.
Assist manager with weekly grocery runs and receiving/unpacking deliveries.
Train and lead volunteers in manager’s absence, including leading a 15-minute prayer huddle.
Abide by health and food safety protocols and ONE&ALL Cafe-specific protocols.
Adhere to recipes and presentations of food and beverage items while remaining flexible to change.
Complete weekly inventory and deep-cleaning tasks.
Attend monthly 1:1 meetings with the supervisor.
Work staff meetings and special events as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Continue to grow as a follower of Christ, so that what you do overflows from your relationship with Him.
Faithfully give to the Lord through ONE&ALL Church in a way that is consistent, sacrificial and follows the first fruit principle with a tithe being the benchmark to grow towards.
Live out the ONE&ALL Staff Values in relationships with other staff, congregation and community.
Attend a ONE&ALL Campus Service regularly.
Serve at Easter and Christmas.
