About The Position
Perform a variety of customer service, food preparation, and cleaning duties in a team environment. Ensure that high quality and great value food and drink are prepared and served to café customers from a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Minimum completion of middle school education.
- No experience required.
- Able to handle customer interactions professionally
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
- Maintain or ability to acquire ServSafe Food Handler certification.

- CCIC Hospitality and Tourism pathway student.
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Responsibilities
- Run the POS system (cash register) along with cash handling.
- Provide a positive customer service experience for all guests.
- Follow proper food handling and food safety procedures.
- Keep the café clean and organized during and after service times.
- Communicate as a team member with other student café workers and direct café supervisor.
- Demonstrate professionalism including proper uniform, communication (language), and reliability.
- Keep proper food inventory and re-stock grab & go, reach in cooler, etc.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
